Engineer the Technology That Connects and Powers the World

Electrical engineers research, design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems for commercial, industrial, military, and scientific use. They help develop systems that produce electricity through renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and biofuels, and they support the planning of electric power generating plants, distribution lines, and stations.

At Texas Tech, the undergraduate curriculum gives students a broad education in electrical and computer engineering while preparing them to pursue career options in a fast-changing technical environment.
