New Engineering Research/Classroom Buildings

MERC

The Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering is known for producing engineers with practical knowledge, good work ethic, and the skills needed for successful careers. As we look ahead to preparing the next generation of graduates in an increasingly competitive marketplace, it is clear that we must build upon our strengths while charting a new course by becoming a globally elite college of engineering. With highly motivated faculty and committed students, we are progressing toward that goal. We have award-winning undergraduates and graduates, excellent research productivity, and exceptional teaching – each an important part of the equation.

We have identified that we also need state-of-the-art facilities to reach this vision. Such facilities will enhance our students' learning experiences and foster collaborative and creative thinking – ultimately building a community of scholars and preparing our students to be future technology leaders.
