Dr. Michelle Pantoya's Combustion Laboratory continues to receive federal research grants on energetic materials and national security-related research. Recent sponsors include DOD Army Research Laboratory, DOD Army/Excet Incorporated, and DOE-Pantex/Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC. Dr. Pantoya currently supervises one research staff and 20 graduate and 10 undergraduate students. The total research expenditure in 2023 is approximately $1.8 M.
