
Hossein Emadibaladehi has been selected to receive the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Regional Distinguished Achievement Award
Hossein Emadibaladehi, George F. Watford associate professor in the Bob L. Herd Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas Tech Universitys Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering has been selected to receive the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Regional Distinguished Achievement Award for Petroleum Engineering Faculty.
Presented on behalf of the SPE Southwestern North America Region, the award recognizes Emadibaladehis outstanding contributions to petroleum engineering education, research, and service at the regional level. It is one of the highest honors conferred by society to faculty members and highlights sustained excellence in advancing the petroleum engineering discipline.
“I am truly honored by this recognition. This award stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous learning,” said Emadibaladeh. “Im grateful to SPE and to everyone, including students, colleagues, and mentors, who have supported and challenged me to grow in the field of Petroleum Engineering.”
Emadibaladehis name will be listed among other distinguished recipients on the official SPE website, www.spe.org.
