CALUE Undergraduate Research Conference 2018 – Lubbock, TX
Lorena Posadas presented a research poster at Center for Active Learning and Undergraduate Engagement's annual Undergraduate Research Conference under the mentorship of Rebecca and Mohsen. For her study, Lorena coded money words in approximately 250 transcripts from the Hispanic Newlywed Study courtship interviews. Couples who made more money tended be more likely to discuss finances during these interviews, and typically mentioned money in a positive context (e.g., buying engagement rings or houses).
