LCU Healthy Families Conference 2015 – Lubbock, TX

Undergraduate researchers, Kristen and Orlando presented their first research posters at a local conference at Lubbock Christian University. Their graduate student mentor from the SMITTEN Lab, Shu, accompanied them. Kristen's poster examined how financial hardship may predict depression in Caucasian and Hispanic married couples. Orlando's poster found that conflict resolution mediated the relationship between financial strain and marital satisfaction.
