Undergraduate seniors selected from each undergraduate program offered in the College of Human Sciences for annual student awards.
Each spring semester, undergraduate seniors are selected for the College of Health & Human Sciences (CHHS) Outstanding Senior Awards. Students are chosen based on rising to the top of their program and demonstrating the colleges mission of improving and enhancing the human condition.
Additionally, one senior was chosen for the Maynette Derr Williams Service Award. For this award, the student must hold a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all Texas Tech University (TTU) coursework, demonstrate a history of leadership on campus, and engage in volunteer work within the Greater Lubbock area. To celebrate this type of student, the award comes with a $500 gift from the Maynette Derr Williams Scholarship Endowment.
Congratulations to our Outstanding Seniors and the Maynette Derr Williams Service Award winner, Kallie Blacklock.
