Allison's background includes over 20 years of experience in the dietetics and healthcare field. Her experience includes long term care facilities, food service management, acute care facilities, policy development, outpatient diet educations, corporate wellness and teaching among many others. She has received several local and state awards for her contribution to the practice and educational field of Nutrition and Dietetics from the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Most recently she received the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year Award and  the Outstanding Nutrition Educator of the Year Award for the state of Texas.
