Ganga Baskar, Ph.D.

Bio

Ganga Baskar received her Ph.D. and M.Sc degree in Human Genetics from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education & Research, India. She has 10 years of experience in biomedical research, specifically in drug discovery related to oncology and cardiovascular conditions. She underwent industrial training supported by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India., where she studied adipocyte-related genes dysregulated in obesity. She has 5 peer-reviewed publications and has experience working in the biotech industry, diagnostics and academia. Her primary interest is to promote commercialization of research innovations from the lab to the market.
