Cari Moye

Principal

Cari Moye is the principal of Texas Tech K-12. After graduating from Texas Tech and Wayland Baptist University, she taught kindergarten, second and fourth grade with Lubbock ISD before becoming a school counselor with Frenship ISD. After earning her LPC license she worked with the Children's Advocacy Center of the South Plains to provide therapy to victims of abuse between the ages of 2-17 and is still active in working as a part of the Crisis Team through the Lubbock Police Department.  Bringing her passion to working with children and students to Texas Tech K-12 in 2012, she is proud to work with an organization that provides opportunities for students that may not have been possible otherwise. While serving as principal, she completed her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech University. Her love for Texas Tech, education, and working with students helps her enjoy being a part of an educational solution for families and she’s grateful to be involved in her students’ educational journey.

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter by going to the park, reading books, planting flowers and golfing. They also enjoy traveling and taking their daughter to experience new things.
