I taught high school social studies course for 14 years in Texas public schools and have served as a social studies specialist for the past 6 years. I earned bachelor's in political science from Angelo State University and my M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University. I am certified in composite social studies, and at Texas Tech K-12, I teach economics courses. Personally, I enjoy traveling around the world and have backpacked numerous times in far-flung destinations. My wife and I also have four rescue dogs that keep us on our toes.
