James Day, M.S.

Director of Technology Support & IT Liaison

James Day supports academic and operations teams by identifying, monitoring, and streamlining systems and processes. He coordinates with other departments—particularly Information Technology—to manage the student information systems and learning management systems used for online course delivery. He also assists with website content, annual and statistical reports, email marketing, process analysis, and other related tasks.

He has held various roles at Texas Tech University, including section manager for curriculum production at Texas Tech K-12, where he led a team of senior editors to ensure course and credit-by-exam materials were accessible, properly formatted, and available in both print and digital formats. Before that, he was a senior editor for University College and served as a graphic design specialist, supporting Texas Tech K-12, the Wind Energy program, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, University College, off-campus sites, and other university departments.

Outside of work, Day enjoys reading and spending time with his family.
