TTU K-12 is excited to announce that teacher Jeanye Wester has been selected as a finalist in the Hospitality & Tourism category for the first eDynamic Learning Career Compass Awards!
Twenty inspirational educators from across the country have been named finalists in this first year of awards created by eDynamic Learning, the largest provider of Career Technical Education (CTE) and elective digital curriculum for grades 6-12. The awards were open to any United States certified teacher currently teaching a CTE course utilizing the eDynamic Learning digital curriculum in their public, private, virtual or charter school program. The finalists span the nation from Florida to Alaska and were selected for their use of the curriculum to help guide passion to purpose and keep their students on track and engaged in learning this year.
Wester teaches child development, culinary arts, nutrition and wellness, and interpersonal studies for Texas Tech University High School. Cari Moye, TTU K-12 principal, says Wester's passion shines in all she does for her students.
“Mrs. Wester is an educator who strives to work with each student individually in making sure they understand their course work. Her passion for teaching is reflective in everything she does, and we are honored to work alongside her,” Moye said.
