Mission Statement

The Office of Prestigious External Student Scholarships strives to cultivate intellectual and personal growth experiences for exceptional Texas Tech University students applying for nationally competitive external awards. We focus heavily on the recruitment, application, and endorsement process while guiding students as they navigate their intellectual interests and discern their future academic and career aspirations. In collaboration with Texas Tech faculty and staff, we work with qualified students to enhance their writing and interviewing skills in order to produce the most competitive award applications possible. Through ongoing efforts, we aspire to recognize and celebrate excellence among the Texas Tech University student body.

Working with All Students Across Campus

Our doors are open to all students who are interested in external merit-based scholarships. We work with students at all levels and in all fields. Texas Tech students are excellent candidates for these awards and we want to discuss your options with you!
