Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) Initiatives

Since Fall 2019, Texas Tech University has been designated a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI). This designation allows TTU to apply for federal grant funding to expand resources, improve access, support student retention, and increase graduation rates. The HSI designation supports a range of institutional initiatives by enhancing programs and supports that benefit all students. Texas Tech University remains steadfast in its commitment to servingness through the benefits afforded by its HSI designation.
