Savannah Staugaard

About Me

Savannah graduated from the College of Media & Communication in May 2023. A Lubbock native, she proudly calls herself a "desert dweller."

During her undergraduate years, Savannah was actively involved in various organizations. She was a member of Delta Gamma, serving as the Director of Attendance for Gamma Xi and a Hannah’s Helper. Additionally, she participated in The Association for Women in Communication, PRSSA, and CHARRG, and was involved in Chi Alpha. She also graduated from the First-Year Leadership Institute and was a member of the honor society Sigma Alpha Lambda.

After graduation, Savannah began working for the university and has enjoyed her roles immensely. Her husband, Brontë Staugaard, is an attorney in town. They have a dachshund named Krypto and enjoy attending games, dining out, and spending quality time at home.
