Davis College Learning Assistants Program

STEP Learning Assistants (LAs) are returning to the Davis College again!  LAs will be in the classroom helping students navigate various topics.  We are looking for LAs that are in Davis College and have successfully earned an A or B in the course they are applying for and are interested in helping other students succeed.

Below is a list of available LA courses in the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences:

• ANSC 2202 (Principles of Anatomy of Domestic Animals)

  • 502 | W 2:00pm - 3:50pm
  • 503 | W 4:00 PM - 5:50 PM
  • 504 | TH 2:00 PM - 3:50 PM
  • 507 | TH 12:00 PM - 01:50 PM
• ANSC 4303 (Dog Training Practicum)
  • 001 | T/TH 03:00 PM - 04:20 PM

Fall 2026: Learning Assistant Application

To be a Learning Assistant, students should be available during the regular course times. LAs should not register for the course.

We are looking for students who:

• Enjoy interacting and learning with fellow students
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred)
• Earned an A or B in the courses described above
• Positions will be filled as needed

Benefits:

• Professional growth opportunities, including leadership advancement and increased pay
• Enhance your understanding of the content.  This is great for improving performance in advanced courses or in preparing for standardized graduate admissions exams, like the MCAT or GRE.
• Work directly with TTU Faculty
• Apple iPad Pro will be checked out to you for the semester (depending on supply)
