Admission to Energy Commerce

Admission to the Energy Commerce program is limited to a maximum 60 incoming students (junior level academic standing) each year. Admission is competitive and based on an overall minimum 3.25 GPA (TTU & Transfer GPA), application, writing sample, resume submission and industry panel interview. The admission application opens in October for admission for the following fall semester. All required lower-level Rawls College and university courses must be completed before starting the Energy Commerce program and students must have the required GPA.

Early Decision (Freshman Year)

Students admitted under early decision will be allowed to participate in internship recruiting, our student association, scholarships and other Energy Commerce events.

In order to be eligible for early decision students must have indicated Energy Commerce on the Student Expectation Agreement completed with a RCOBA advisor at orientation. Students admitted under early decision must still complete all lower division courses and have an overall 3.25 GPA (TTU & Transfer) before they are eligible to take any ENCO courses.
