Jane Piercy is senior director of development and external relations for Texas Tech University's
Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources. In 2013, Piercy was presented
a National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association's Monumental Achievement
Award at the group's national conference in Washington, D.C. Program officials noted
that the association's monumental achievement award honors programs and events, “created
by outside-the-box thinkers who have left a permanent, positive impression on their
campus or community by shaping the future, facing the challenges and leading the change.”
Prior to joining the Davis College staff in 2008, Piercy served as director of development
for the Texas Tech library and earlier president of Association of Fund-Raising Professionals.
She was also executive director of the Court Appointed Special Advocates of the South
Plains, Inc. and earlier served as victim/witness coordinator with the Lubbock County
Criminal District Attorney's Office. The Texline native received her bachelor's degree
in psychology from Texas Tech.
