Shalynn is a Red Raider from Mount Vernon, Texas, who graduated with both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University. Currently, she works as an Agricultural Marketing Specialist and Economist with the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service in Kansas City, where she calculates Posted County Prices and analyzes Section 32 funding requests for various USDA food programs. In her free time, Shalynn enjoys reading, traveling, and running with the Kansas Run Club.
