Kayla Robinson

2021 Davis College Distinguished Alumni Award

Kayla Robinson of Shallowater, Texas received her bachelor's degree (2004) in agricultural and applied economics, and master of business administration (2015), both from Texas Tech. Today, Robinson serves as of chief operating officer of AgTexas’s Lubbock location. She is an active participant within the Texas Tech community, coming back to campus to make AAEC classroom presentations within the department of agricultural and applied economics. Robinson has served on the Davis College Advisory Board since 2018, and the Davis College Matador Institute of Leadership Engagement Program Advisory Committee, a student program that provides unique leadership and professional development experiences. In addition to serving on Davis College committees, her AgTexas office hires three interns each summer, giving them any opportunity to know the company and better determine whether the banking industry is a good fit for them.
