The Bankers Agricultural Credit Conference Scholarship Endowment was established by
the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics through proceeds from the Bankers
Agricultural Credit Conference in 1983.
This conference is held in Lubbock each year and is attended by bankers from the West
Texas region and discusses topics and issues related to the agricultural banking industry.
Scholarship recipients are to show an interest in banking, finance, or agricultural
lending and be majoring in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics. These
recipients are also invited to attend the Bankers Agricultural Credit Conference each
year.
