The Crofoot family has established several endowments at Texas Tech to support scholarships, athletics, and medical research. Terry and Kelly are members of the Texas Tech Spur Society, and Terry serves on the Texas Tech Equine Advisory Board. Terry is a member of Rancheros Visitadores and is a two-time champion and two-time reserve champion of the organization's One Man-One Horse competition.
