Underwood Family Rodeo Endowed Scholarship

The Underwood Family Rodeo Scholarship Endowment was established by Fred Underwood in 2006. The scholarship is awarded to students who are participating on the Texas Tech Rodeo Team.

Mr. Fred Underwood received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas Tech University in 1971. He has established several endowments at Texas Tech University.

Fred is a former member of the Texas Tech Foundation Board, Chief Executives Roundtable, HSC Institutional Advancement Committee, and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Advisory Board. Fred is the Owner and CEO of The Trinity Company, a cotton bale storage facility, and a former member of the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce Board.

He and his wife, Pam, are current members of Spur Society and are at the Investor Level of Chancellor's Council. They have three grown children: Brett, who received a BBA in Management and an MBA in General Business from Texas Tech University in 2004 and 2012, respectively, Jennifer, and Rebecca. Fred and Pam reside in Lubbock, TX.
