Dr. Nolie G. Elliston Alpha Zeta High Freshman Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Nolie G. Elliston Endowment was established by Drs. Nolie G. and Geraldine R.
Elliston after Nolie was diagnosed with a terminal illness in 1991. Scholarships were
awarded to students in the College of Agricultural Sciences who had the highest GPA
at the end of their freshman year. The scholarship was awarded as the Alpha Zeta High
Freshman Award. Following Nolie's death, in 2003 the name was changed to the Dr. Nolie
G. Elliston Alpha Zeta High Freshman Memorial Scholarship Endowment.
