The Mark and Claudia Woods Scholarship Endowment was established in 2021 by Mark and Claudia Woods. This scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.

Mark Woods grew up in Texas and earned his CPA from Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas. Claudia Woods was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Mountain View Junior College where she received an Associate Degree in Business. Mark and Claudia have been married for 30 fun-filled, adventurous years and have been blessed with a daughter, Cayce, who is 26 and a son, Paul, who is 23. They moved to New Braunfels 4 years ago and just love it there. Mark's father Paul Woods founded Woods Honda in Austin, Texas (which is now Woods Fun Center) more than 35 years ago. Mark took over the day-to-day operation of the dealership after college. After selling Woods Fun Center, Mark purchased New Braunfels Cycle Country in 2006 and renamed the dealership Woods Cycle Country. Mark now splits his time between New Braunfels and Austin.
