Halff Associates Excellence in Landscape Architecture Endowed Scholarship
The Halff Associates Excellence in Landscape Architecture Scholarship Endowment was established in 2016 by Halff Associates, Inc. The scholarship was created for students in the Department of Landscape Architecture who have demonstrated leadership and an enthusiasm for the profession of Landscape Architecture. Students must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA and preferably a U.S. citizen.
Dr. Albert H. Halff began Halff Associates, Inc. in 1950 as a one-man engineering consulting firm in Dallas, TX. The company has grown to become one of the largest engineering, architecture, and other related services firms in the Southwest. Halff Associates, Inc. has continually been recognized for its aim at continuous improvement and sustainability in the engineering and architecture industry. The seek creativity and originality in all of their proposed solutions while still maintaining a holistic culture of integrity and quality. Halff Associates, Inc. has received several awards for projects they have completed and for their company as a whole. Their award-winning work can be found all across Texas, from the Fort Worth Stockyards to the Rio Grande Valley. They have also established the Halff Community Initiative which is designed to give back to the communities in which they live and work. They are also committed to developing engineers and architects and have established scholarships in various universities across the Southwest.
