Alon and Susan Kvashny Endowed Scholarship

The Alon and Susan Kvashny Scholarship Endowment was established by Alon and Susan Kvashny in 2010 in memorial of Susan Kvashny. The scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Landscape Architecture.

Dr. Alon Kvashny is Professor Emeritus from the Department of Landscape Architecture. He joined the Texas Tech faculty in 2000 and served as department chairman for 13 years. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and master's degree from the University of Michigan. His doctorate is from West Virginia University. He is a registered landscape architect in Israel and Texas.
