Lewis C. Wright, Jr. Endowed Scholarship in Landscape Architecture
The Lewis C. Wright, Jr. Scholarship Endowment in Landscape Architecture was established by Lewis. C. Wright, Jr. in 2016. This scholarship is awarded to students in the Department of Landscape Architecture who are in good academic standing, with preference given to students from El Paso, Texas.
Mr. Wright graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 1975. He owns Landscape Architectural Services, Inc. in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Wright's company has completed several athletic fields and complexes, commercial and industrial campuses, and developed communities across El Paso and surrounding areas. His services include landscape architecture, irrigation design, backflow prevention assembly testing, and he is a certified Landscape Water Auditor. He is married to Constance Wright and they have one son, Lewis C. Wright, III who graduated from Texas Tech University in 2007 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences.
