The Libb Wallace Memorial Scholarship Endowment was established by Mr. Michael Hughes
and many other friends who knew and loved Libb in memory of Libb Wallace in 1995.
The scholarship is awarded to junior and senior students who are majoring in Range
and Wildlife Management. The Libb Wallace Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established
in 1995 by Mr. Michael C. Hughes of Southwest Healthcare Network, Inc. in Amarillo,
Texas in memory of Libb Wallace. Several of Libb's friends were also contributors
to the endowment fund.
Libb Wallace was a young man who was killed in an accident. Mr. Hughes and others
wanted to establish a scholarship for wildlife management majors so that this exceptional
young man, who impacted the lives and attitudes of many people, would be remembered.
Libb was known to have a deep love for wildlife and other animals.
Libb's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Will Wallace of Refugio, Texas.
