Dr. Arthur Frederick and Mary Lene Gohlke Endowed Scholarship
The Dr. Arthur Frederick and Mary Lene Gohlke Scholarship Endowment was established
in 2000 by Mrs. Mary L. Gohlke. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students
in the Department of Plant and Soil Science with a preference to students interested
in agronomy.
Arthur graduated from Texas Tech University in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science in
Soil Science and in 1958 with a Master of Science in Agronomy. He received his Ph.D.
from Purdue University.
