West Texas Agricultural Chemical’s Institute – Adolph R. Hanslik Scholarship Endowment
The West Texas Agricultural Chemical's Institute – Adolph R. Hanslik Scholarship Endowment
was established by West Texas Agricultural Chemical's Institute in 2010. The scholarship
is awarded to students with a minimum of 30 hours and is enrolled in the Department
of Plant and Soil Science. Preference will be given to students that have an interest
in agricultural chemicals, demonstrate financial need.
The West Texas Agricultural Chemicals Institute, founded in 1953, is a nonprofit organization
of dealers, industry representatives, producers, scientists, educators, and agribusiness
members who support educational and research programs promoting the safe and efficient
use of agricultural chemicals.
WTACI awards academic scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students from universities
in the West Texas area and to those students from the West Texas area attending the
college of their choice.
