Texas Association of Agricultural Consultants Endowed Scholarship
The Texas Association of Agricultural Consultants Scholarship Endowment was established
by the Texas Association of Agricultural Consultants in 1985. The scholarship is awarded
Texas residents who are entering their junior or senior year and pursuing a degree
in entomology or agronomy. The award is based on merit, with consideration of need,
and students must maintain a GPA of 3.30 or higher.
The Texas Association of Agricultural Consultants (TAAC) was founded in 1974 by six
private, consulting entomologist. The group provides Services in Integrated Crop Management
(ICM); complete crop production and protection systems; expert witness; product and
concept consulting. They specialize in soil fertility, plant nutrition, best management
practices, variety testing, soil tillage, moisture monitoring.
