Texas Seed Trade Association - American Cottonseed Delinter’s Association Endowed Scholarship
The Texas Seed Trade Association – American Cottonseed Delinter's Association Scholarship Endowment was established by the Texas Seed Trade Association and American Cottonseed Delinter's Association in 2007. This scholarship is awarded to graduate or undergraduate students with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are majoring in soil science, crop science, or agronomy. The Texas Seed Trade Association serves as the organizational framework for advancing the collective professional interests, continuing education and public policy goals of Texas seed providers and allied industries. Texas seed growers provide plant seed for the production of food, feed and fiber for people and animal consumption. Additionally, on farms, ranches and dairies, forage and even fuels depend on seed. Without robust, consistent seed, wildlife habitats, ecosystem restoration and soil conservation would falter.
