Texas Tech approves bordering state tuition waiver
Texas Tech University has received approval to offer a tuition waiver to students who are residents of bordering states "" New Mexico or Oklahoma.
Tuition bills will be adjusted for all students in which this waiver will apply and will provide these students with a tuition rate that is $173.67 per semester credit hour "" based on 15 credit hours per long semester.
Any students that have applied for Financial Aid and have received an award notification will receive an updated award which includes the waiver as a resource included as a portion of Financial Aid award.
If the waiver of tuition necessitates an adjustment of the student's current Financial Aid, the university will notify students via e-mail. Any students that have not applied for Financial Aid may do so by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
