Collegiate 4-H raffles Wyatt painting at homecoming breakfast
The Texas Tech Collegiate 4-H club is hosting a special raffle for a Kenneth Wyatt western painting as part of the university's upcoming Oct. 11 homecoming activities.
The drawing will be held in conjunction with the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Homecoming Breakfast, which will be held at the livestock arena behind the Animal and Food Sciences Building on the corner of Indiana and Main in Lubbock.
The breakfast, which gets underway at 8 a.m., is free of charge, but there will be an opportunity to contribute donations to the Marvin J. Cepica Student Ag Council Scholarship and the General CASNR Scholarship Fund.
Kenneth Wyatt. The Wyatt painting features three cowboys riding a horse in a beautiful, western setting. Raffle tickets are $2 each or $5 for three. Proceeds will benefit the Texas Tech Collegiate 4-H Club and Collegiate 4-H's scholarship fund.
Officials said the painting, valued at almost $300, will be displayed in the dean's office until Oct. 10. They noted that the painting's winner can choose to keep the current painting or exchange it for another Kenneth Wyatt print. Wyatt's art work can be viewed at www.kennethwyatt.com.
To purchase a ticket contact Collegiate 4-H members Amy Schwertner at amy.schwertner@ttu.edu , Sara Schwertner at sara.schwertner@ttu.edu or Amy Dromgoole in the CASNR dean's office. Tickets can also be purchased from any other collegiate 4-H member.
