Tech cotton researchers plan research, outreach symposium at Merket
Texas Tech cotton researchers and various industry experts are set to present their latest research and discuss key issues impacting the future of South Plains agriculture in a public symposium next week. The 11th-annual Cotton Economics Research Institute & International Cotton Research Center Research and Outreach Symposium will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 29 at the Merket Alumni Center.
Discussion topics include cotton management research, market outlooks and U.S. agriculture overall. Rep. Mike Conaway, (R-Texas), will share his thoughts on Congress' future directions in farm policy. The event is free and includes breakfast and lunch.
