Senior business major Haley Nelson of Channing won first place honors in barrel racing, while Lubbock native, Jessica Frost, a senior animal science major, received second place in the same event. Additionally, Taylor Langdon, a radiology technology major from Aubrey, earned fifth place overall.
Men's team member Josh Carden, a junior agricultural and applied economics major from Elberta, Ala., placed sixth overall in steer wrestling, and sophomore petroleum engineering major Klay Kirkes of Carlsbad, N.M., placed fourth in the first go-round of calf roping.
