CASNR Advisory Board Gets Makeover; New Members Come to the Table
Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources has a new Advisory Board, featuring 15 new members from across the state. The mission of the board is to promote excellence and innovation, and assist the college with strategic planning, provide feedback on current CASNR activities and priorities, as well as strengthen and enhance its image and reputation.
"These individuals will have a profound influence on our college," said CASNR Dean Michael Galyean. "Working with them gives us the opportunity to continue to improve, and we look forward to working with them."
Among the administrative changes on tap for the new year is a shift in the number of members from the current 13 to 21. New members will continue to represent the college's departments, along with its development and alumni relations office.
