New Season; Ranch Horse Team rides to victory at Stock Horse of Texas Show
Texas Tech's Ranch Horse Team took champion and reserve champion honors last weekend in the Stock Horse of Texas Association Show's Collegiate Division at the Taylor County Expo Center in Abilene. "I'm extremely proud of how everyone did," said Tech Ranch Horse Team Coach Cooper Cogdell. "They've been working hard to prep for this first show and their hard work paid off."
Highlighting the performance were six members of the Tech team who received individual honors. They were:- Landon Brown, a junior from Welch; Novice Reserve Champion
- Blaze Cogdell, a senior from Silverton; Non-Pro Working Cow Horse Champion
- Parke Greeson, a junior from Victoria; Non-Pro Reining Champion
- Tyler O'Neal, a junior from Pampa; Novice Champion
- Kelsey Stokes, a senior from Afton; Non-Pro Champion
- Kelsey Watring, a junior from Lakewood, Colo.; Non-Pro Reserve Champion
- Luke Abraham, a freshman from Canadian
- Jennifer Bouse, a junior from Angleton
- Ashley Daniel, a senior from Guthrie
- Courtney Fredriksen, a freshman from Van Alstyne
- Beth Hughs, a junior from Abilene
- Hannah Langendoerfer, a junior from Idalia, Colo.
- Gage Moorhouse, a junior from Guthrie
- Kate Reagan, a junior from Silverton
- Pate Stewart, a senior from Munday
- Jordan Williams, a senior from Weatherford
