Cool Commencement; CASNR students featured at December ceremonies
More than 2,300 students Texas Tech students, including 114 from the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, received diplomas at the university's commencement ceremonies Saturday (Dec. 14) at the United Spirit Arena in Lubbock.
During the event outstanding students carried banners representing their respective colleges. Theresa Graf, an agricultural communications major from Momence, Ill., and Ashley Daggs, an animal science major from Killeen, represented CASNR. Administrators selected the banner bearers based on all-around achievement.

Over his 30-year career, Manhattan-based Isom has been responsible for teaching third year medical students, as well as general surgery house staff. He has also been instrumental in training more than 50 cardiothoracic surgeons who are now either practicing or teaching throughout the country.
