CASNR 'Aggie of the Month' April 2014
Name: Elizabeth Terry; Major: Animal Science; Pre-Pharmacy option; Classification: Junior; Organization: Collegiate FFA; Hometown: Pampa; Month: April 2014
Elizabeth Terry, a junior animal science, pre-pharmacy option within Texas Tech's Department of Animal and Food Sciences was selected as the Aggie of the Month during the student Agricultural Council meeting in April. The Pampa native represents Collegiate FFA, and said she came to Tech for two main reasons. "I chose to come to Texas Tech because of the overall atmosphere and genuine quality of people. Everyone I knew from Tech loved it and as soon as I set foot on campus I had no doubt in my mind this is where I belonged." Terry said her favorite thing about Tech would have to be the football games. Meanwhile, her favorite thing about CASNR is the people. "Everyone is so hard working and I have met some of my closest friends through being involved in different organizations and events," she said. After graduation she plans on attending Texas Tech's pharmacy school, and eventually working in a small Texas town or being employed at an animal pharmaceutical products company.
