Jacob Gresham, a junior animal science major, was selected as Aggie of the Month at the March Agricultural Council meeting. The Lubbock native represents the Texas Tech Pre-Vet Society.

Gresham came to Tech because of the nationally-acclaimed animal science program. "After visiting the campus and talking to a few professors, I just knew the Red Raider family was the perfect fit for me."

He said his favorite thing about Tech is the incredible research being done by faculty and students. "I'm so grateful for the opportunity to carry out my own research, and become published under Dr. Jan Simoni at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center," he said.

After graduation, Gresham plans to attend Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine, and eventually become board-certified in equine sports medicine.
