GALLERY: CASNR Advisory Board line up for chuck-wagon cuisine at museum

Prior to this year's Texas Tech College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources' Advisory Board Meeting, a 'Chuck Wagon Breakfast' was held on Friday (Aug. 21) at the Bayer Museum of Agriculture in Lubbock. Among the luminaries on hand for the early morning event were Robert Duncan, Chancellor of the Texas Tech University System; Lawrence Schovanec, Texas Tech Provost and Senior Vice President; and Michael Galyean, dean of Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. In addition to board members from across the region, the program featured CASNR's Administrative Council. The event was hosted by Dan and Linda Taylor; Dale and Cheryl Swinburn; and Vickie Glenn. Following the breakfast, the 20-member board moved to the university's McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center for a state-of the-college presentation, and a series of departmental vision-and-update discussions.
