Sinclaire Dobelbower, a junior agricultural communications major from Midlothian, received Ag Council's October Aggie of the Month. Dobelbower said she is honored to receive this award as a representative for Ambassadors for Agriculture.
"It means that my hard work behind the scenes has not gone unnoticed," Dobelbower said. "More importantly, I get to represent an organization that has truly influenced my journey to becoming who I am today."
In addition to Ambassador for Agriculture, Dobelbower is heavily involved in a multitude of organizations across the college. Upon graduation from Tech, Dobelbower plans to work in the publication or public relations department for a horse or cattle breed association.
Dobelbower has confidence her education and experience at Tech is paving the way for her success in her long-term career goals. She said she genuinely loves living in Lubbock, being a Red Raider and being involved in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
"My favorite thing about CASNR is how close knit it is," Dobelower said. "I feel like we are all one big family that supports one another."
