Nicole Terrell, a senior agricultural communications major from Pearland, received Ag Council's January Aggie of the Month. Terrell said she was honored to be recognized by her peers to receive this honor on behalf of Sigma Alpha.

"I am extremely honored to be Aggie of the Month," Terrell said. "There are so many outstanding individuals in CASNR and to be recognized as one of them is humbling."

Beyond her involvement in Sigma Alpha, Terrell is extremely active in other student organizations across the university. Upon graduation she hopes to work as a student recruiter. She said her experience as an Agri-Techsan sparked her passion for helping incoming students and their families.

Terrell said there is no question she feels at home in CASNR at Texas Tech and feels certain she made the right decision in choosing Tech.

"I came to Texas Tech because of the people," Terrell said. "After my first campus tour, there was no doubt in my mind that Texas Tech was the right fit for me."
