In a stunningly quick rise of steel - one weekend - construction teams placed the steel girders that will serve as the core foundation of a new two-story tower going into place just outside Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Dean's Office on the northwest corner of the Goddard building. The project, scheduled for completion by the end of February, completes the exterior enhancement of CASNR's new Bayer Plant Science Building and visually ties the new and old buildings together. The tower is being built by Vaughn Construction.
