Kendall Wheeler, a senior animal science/pre-vet major from Denton, has been named Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Ag Council's November Aggie of the Month. Wheeler said it is a privilege to be a member of such a wonderful organization that Pre-Vet Society is and an honor to be selected as the Aggie of the Month.
"I would like to thank the Pre-Vet Society and the Ag Council for providing the students at Texas Tech University with such great opportunities," Wheeler said.
Wheeler has set a goal of having a career as a veterinarian and owning a clinic and equine breeding facility. After graduation, she hopes to attend the Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Services. While attending vet school, she would like to specialize in equine medicine and reproduction.
