Several students with Texas Tech's Department of Agricultural Education and Communications
got a bit of Spring sunshine on Thursday (May 3) as they got some hands-on experience in using automatic levels to take elevation
readings. The work is part of AGSM 3304 - Systems in Agricultural Mechanics - which
is led by David Lawver, a professor of Agricultural Education and Communications. Topics included in class
are electrical wiring, internal combustion engines, and surveying. "Students in this
class are typically working toward teacher certification in agricultural science,
and will be completing their student teaching experience next spring," Lawver said.
