While visitors aren't exactly dashing through the snow, it was still like walking into a winter wonderland on Tuesday (Dec. 17) as Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources held its annual Christmas Open House celebration. Faculty, staff, and friends across campus gathered in the CASNR Dean's Office suite in the Goddard Building for Christmas goodies from colorful cookies to beefy appetizers.
Visitors were welcomed by CASNR Dean William Brown, along with Cindy Akers, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Programs; Christy Bratcher, Associate Dean for Research; and Jane Piercy, Director of Development and External Relations. As usual the main office featured several decorated Christmas trees, while CASNR's Development and Alumni Relations highlighted Bartholomewe, a terracotta-colored sheep statue in the entry office.
